Celebrating in Style... with the 80's !

I really enjoyed doing this cake, being an 80's child myself.

This was a 2 tiered mudcake, the top tier being caramel mudcake with white chocolate ganache and the bottom being chocolate mudcake with dark chocolate ganache.

The bottom tier was handpainted with edible paint and finished with black lace around the bottom and a faux diamonte buckle. 

 The Ostrich feathers were a great background for the fondant number '30' covered in edible glitter. 

Princess & the Frog

This was a fun Princess and the Frog themed cake with Princess Tiarna on her fantasty island with her cute little frog prince.

The decortion on top was a toy as is the flower mirror. Everything else including the milk choc mudcake with marshmallow fondant was all edible.

The cupcakes were vanilla with buttercream and fondant decorations.

Fairy Flower Cake

I loved doing this cake. All things girly including a big fondant fairy with glitter wings to sit on top of the giant flower.

There are little mushrooms, snails and ladybugs all around the edges.

This was a chocolate mud cake with freshly made marshmallow fondant.

Charlie & Rosie Horse Stable Cake

This is for my cute little nephew whom hasn't ever lived on a farm or grown up around horses but already has an imaginary life in his head with his horses, Charlie & Rosie. I'm not sure what the 3rd ones name is but it's all pretty special for a little 4 year old to be!

This was a milk choc mud with milk choc fudge ganache and marshmallow fondant.

This cake was designed off the happy couples white, dark purple and black invitations. The white was finished in a lustre powder.

Candy Colours Present Cake

This was so fun to make and a great customer who gave me free reign. It was her successful beauty business's first birthday and we went for a two tiered present style cake with a Happy Birthday banner and lots of edible fondant ribbon decorations.

Furry Fondant Pet

This cute little furry friend was made entirely from fondant for the special little birthday girl who loves Maltese puppies.  It was a centrepeice for her party table. She is yet to bring herself to eat it :)

Feeling a little Topsy Turvy !

This was a choc mud layered, then layered, then layered.... they layered with chocolate ganache and topped with coloured marshmallow fondant and decorations. I really enjoy making this style of cake and learn something new everytime I do the topsy turvy. They can only get better!!!
