Come on Barbie, Let's go Party "DISCO BARBIE"

What a great theme... Disco Barbie Party!
This cake was a pleasure to do with a funky 2 tiered mudcake with marshmallow fondant and some bright, fun disco balls with a Barbie on top! What more does a little girl need??

Super Mario

This was for a Super Mario Kart themed party with the large Super Mario Kart being completely edible. There were PLENTY of hours put into this cake but it was worth the look on the birthday boys face!!

!!! Buttercakes !!!

Some delicious buttercake with whipped buttercream beauties for some special little birthday people.

All edible except for 'Dora' and the big 'Lego Man'.

I think the lego was the favourite over the cake!

Holden Mania

This was for a Holden fan who's first car was a purple holden which is why we didn't go with the traditional Holden colours. It think the colours go together smashingly!

Cheeky Monkey Cake

This lucky little one year old had a Mum who came up with this great 'monkey' theme. And the ideas just grew from there! Everything on this cake was edible which I think was important especially for 1st birthdays when all the little ones want to do is grab and eat!

!! Happy Birthday Harvey !!

The inspiration for this cake was from " Elite Cake Designs "

21st Motorbike Extravaganza

I always find it a little hard making cakes for males and trying to make them not too fussy but I was happy with how this worked out and was told the birthday boy did too... PHEW!

The motorbike was a model bike purchased from overseas and the rest was 100% yummy for your tummy. Mud mud and more mud cake! MMmmmmm x

I'm leaving... on a jet plane..... (oh how I love that song!)

This was for Aunty Mone who was over in Australia from London visiting her family who organised a surprise birthday cake for her.
This was all mudcake covered in ganache and fondant with a wee little fondant jet plane doing loop-de-loops... as jet planes do :)

Super LUIGI Cake... what a nice change!

So poor Luigi hasn't been forgotten after all!
This was for a Luigi fan who even dressed up as him for his birthday. I saw the photo's and my oh my... what a gorgeous birthday boy he was!

This was a white choc cake with marshmallow fondant with an edible luigi in a foam fondant covered pipe.

Frilly Handbag Cake

This cake was great to put together. With each single layer of frill upon frill being put on, I could really see the transformation quickly and couldn't wait to get it finished to see it complete.
I am VERY happy with the outcome and I hear the lovely birthday girl was too.
xx Happy Birthday Miss Ella xx

Celebrating in Style... with the 80's !

I really enjoyed doing this cake, being an 80's child myself.
This was a 2 tiered mudcake, the top tier being caramel mudcake with white chocolate ganache and the bottom being chocolate mudcake with dark chocolate ganache.
The bottom tier was handpainted with edible paint and finished with black lace around the bottom and a faux diamonte buckle.
The Ostrich feathers were a great background for the fondant number '30' covered in edible glitter.

Fairy Flower Cake

I loved doing this cake. All things girly including a big fondant fairy with glitter wings to sit on top of the giant flower.
There are little mushrooms, snails and ladybugs all around the edges.

!! Happy Birthday Charlotte !!

This was a chocolate mud cake with freshly made marshmallow fondant.
