This was another design from one of the UK cake queen Debbie Brown's amazing cake books.
It is a mudcake with 4 layers of chocolate ganache and finished with marshmallow fondant and decorations.
The horses were individually hand made 2 weeks before and everything is edible... except the cake board, but you can lick it :)
This was a really fun design. I love my job!
This was a mammoth effort but worth every minute in the end. Each cupcake topper was hand made and the faces moulded as were all the bows on the cookies and cupcakes.
The main cake was chocolate mudcake with 3 layers of ganache and finished with marshmallow fondant and a fondant red bow.

This cake was done for a very relaxed Bride & Groom who allowed me to experiment a bit.. with my new Cri-Cut Cake Machine. The bottom tier had the fondant demask style cut outs which I cut with the machine. The roses were handcrafted and entire cake dusted with ivory lustre to give the antique / vintage feel. The tiers were chocolate mudcake and fruit cake.
Matching cookie pops were made for the Bride and Grooms sweets table.
It was a fabulous wedding!!! I was so glad to be a part of such a special day x
I had been looking forward to doing this cake since I knew I was going to do it!
The cake is 100% edible, mermaid and all and was a chocolate mudcake, ganache and finished in brightly coloured marshmallow fondant... my favourite!!!
