Dolly Varden with a 21st century touch!

Well cupcakes aren't the only thing that has evolved through time, so has the well known Dolly Varden style cake. This little barbie was turned into a fun, bright and very pink mudcake covered in marshmallow fondant, decorations and lots of little bits in between.
I hope the lovely little lady had a great day celebrating with all her friends and family.

Special Agent OSO

I hadn't heard of this little bear until a customer requested it for her son's birthday. He's a smart little bear on cable television and glad I could mould a replica that the little birthday boy could actually eat too!

Frangipani Cake

This was for someone who left it all up to me which was great! I didn't want to go over the top as that wouldn't have suited the birthday girl so I went for a cool, calm and relaxed theme.. FRANGIPANIS! I enjoyed putting this altogether. Buttercream on a buttercake with fondant flowers and decorations and finished with raw sugar sand and shells.

Little Furry Fuzzy MISHA BEAR Cake

For an expecting Mum at her baby shower. He was a hard little bear to put onto a cake that's for sure! This fuzzy little creation was done with fondant and buttercream on a vanilla buttercake with shades of beige, cream and ivory.
HAPPY BABY SHOWER!

Can I've another.... piece of chocolate cake! (That's a song by the way)

A little bit of sugar for hubby's birthday. The last thing we need is cake so I made his favourite choc cake with chocolate fondant and decorations and of course a cherry on top. This piece of cake was definately not a piece of cake to make. I think the smaller it is... the harder it is!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cake...... KOW-WA-BUNGA!

Happy Birthday to the little Ninja Fan!!! Hopefully he and all his little friends enjoyed this choc filled cake finished with a metallic sewer lid and the 4 cheeky turtles popping out the top. If they don't get their sweet fix from the cake, the cupcakes will be sure to do it!

A little Aussie Cake for a little Aussie Birthday Boy

It was a pleasure to do this cake as I thought it was a lovely theme for a first birthday. Made with buttercake and  buttercream and totally edible fondant koala's and gum leaves.
This was a fun cake to make and look forward to doing lots more like it!

ROARY the RACING CAR

This cake came alive with a 10cm x 8cm totally edible fondant Roary sitting on top of a vanilla buttercake and filled and finished with yummy vanilla buttercream.
The colours in this cake were striking and hope the birthday boy loved it as much as I hoped.
